Hello
That depends on which vehicle!
If it is an Alfa 147 and 159, you only need to pin 1, 7, 12 connect.
This interface should not apply to the Mito, Grande Punto, 500 and so on.
And note the pin numbers (red) which has given you mattydr67
Greetings Eddy

So did anyone come up with a solution to make the 'ELM327-USB V3.0' Work yet?
Soldering and removing R04 does not work with this layout?

Hi, I have just hit this problem. Just wondering if I'm missing something, tried all sorts with my cable to get it open, but I can't.. What's the procedure for getting the casing open so I can see the chipset?
Thanks in advance, really hope I can get the cable working properly.

Take off the label (on the label is written ELM327 interface - Supports all OBDII protocols) and under it you will find 4 holes with 4 screws...fewleh wrote:Hi, I have just hit this problem. Hello, I just wanted to thank you, i bought a Chinese-made ELM327 Bluetooth v1.5, had the same problem, only connected to ECU, now i desoldered R04 and all CAN systems work perfectly...
Thanks again, if it wasn't for you probably i'd have bought another interface...
