Hello Darkman and everyone!

So far, I can connect and work under XP.

Connexion to the car via the VAG/COM interface and FES allow me to access the ECU, read data, erase errors and monitor 4 parameters.

I only have the message "latency too high" that shows up, despite the test is ok (between 1ms and 9ms)

I'm going to test something tonight...
I'll keep you inform.

laptop running win xp
latency too high,
port set at 1
trying to do steering wheel calibration, it fails says conditions incorrect

Hello
As well as Darkman, I suspect that your netbook is to weak performance.
Your Samsung has a 1.3 Ghz processor
And FES requires at least a 1.5 Ghz processor.
Try it once with another more powerful laptop

I think that the problem is not in the computer.
How did you try steering wheel calibration on Croma? This function is not available in Multiecuscan.
Also, "conditions incorrect" means that the control unit does not want to execute a procedure because some conditions are not met (like engine running, engine stopped, steering centered, etc.)

Hi Everyone!

I overclocked my EEEPC from 630MHz to about 960MHz.
The connection test built in FES shows :
Min Latency : 2ms ; Max latency : 9ms with the processor running at 630MHz
Min Latency : 1ms ; Max latency : 6ms with the processor running at 960MHz
Is there a relation between the two results?
The message Latency too high raise up when I checkmark one parameter, not when reading fault.
It disappears (within a few seconds) as soon as I uncheck the parameters.

If the frequency of the processor is the point, then my EEEPC is good for erasing errors.
But for monitoring and saving parameters, I have to find a new solution.

Good scans to everyone! :)

its in there

its under ABS(ESP)

I tried with engine off and running, and moved car to flatter ground, and drove back an forth a few times to make sure wheel were straight.

as discussed earlier. My computer is a 1.73GHz, now that we have the FES version 3.3 works better.
reading error is and has always been about - no delays

As I begin to scan the engine operating parameters appears: latency too high, how fast is characterized by several parameters to a maximum of 1 is the string displayed in a few seconds and then it disappears and it is about is about
If I use a better computer: latency too high does not appear in inches, or is for a moment and disappears.
How to diagnose car without a 3 pin adapter - directly into the OBDII/EOBD is ME DO NOT DISCONNECT.

weak computer: no loss of signal at all .... the usb cable extender, on the Antivirus that works, how we use 3 pin adapter for cars with 3 pin socket. Everything has meaning.

I used the computer as well: he's not bothered: usb extender, Antivirus ON and working. to 2.7 FES

then everyone what he had complained of this problem is that further versions of the FES doing disconnection problems. But FES 3.3 gives advice. But I still think that the processors from 1.5 to 2.0 is not enough.

sorry my english is poor

Do not use the program in full screen. Especially not on big resolution screens. I think the drawing of graphs is quite CPU intensive, and if you re-size the window to make it smaller it should help you with latency too high problem.

It does for me.
