Fiat Bravo HGT 147

Post by mattnunns »

Hi Everyone,

My first time on the forum, sorry for any stupid questions! I've got a Fiat Bravo HGT 2.0 20v 147. 1998 model. So non-vis. I've connected up Fiat ECU Scan to the diagnostics connector in the the engine bay but can only connect to the ABS ecu, not the engine ECU, can anyone point me in the right direction? I've got VAG COM KKL with switch

and the 3 pin adapter also off ebay:-

Any help massively appreciated!

Hi Everyone, right some further information. The cables I have definitely work as I can get connected to the ECU using startrek http://www.nailed-barnacle.co.uk/coupe/ ... rtrek.html

But i want to use Fiat ECU Scan as it has more functionality, anyone have any ideas why the software wont connect? As i've mentioned in my previous post, the ABS Ecu works through Multiecuscan

Hopefully, this will help people in future, all connecting now, connectors are shown in the attachment. ABS is on the right of the picture ECU on the left, hidden behind the engine in front of the engine mount
