Hitachi MPI

Post by Peter30 »

Hello
I was trying to connect ECU with FES 2.7.2. I couldn't connect with KKL USB and 3pin adapter.
My car - Marea 1.8 - 1999/2000.
When I scannig it was that ISO code:
"ISO Code: 45 85 83 94 B6"
I was trying in FES with few cars in that same ECU -Bravo/Brava/Barchetta with the same results - no connection (I send reports)
With airbag and ABS FES connect very well.
Where is a problem?
Thanks for any tips
Peter

Hello. I also can't connect to "Hitachi MPI injection ISO Code: 45 85 83 94 B6" (Fiat Marea 1.8 1997).
When i scanning with multiecuscan 2.7.2 with KKL and USB and 3pin adapter found Hitachi MPI injection ISO Code: 45 85 83 94 B6? but when i want to connect - I have a problem "Error. No ECU response. Сheck the cable and settings COM-port". The OS is WinXP SP3.
Thanks.

In different post yani said:
"I know about this problem and I'm trying to fix it. It happens only with this Hitachi ECU."
So we must wait for next version of FES :-)

Hi guys,

I hate to bring back to life such a long dead thread but I think the internet community of Barchetta owners could benefit from this. I can see that you actually connected to the 96' Barchetta. I have a 95' and have the 4 pin plug near relays in the engine compartment under plastic cover, I saw other owners of B. from 96' had the same: two cases in the internet and one on this forum, the other on the FIAT forum.

Here's how it looks like in my car:

Did your connector look the same? How did you connect to it - did you hand wire it to your 16 pin OBD connector?
