DPF regeneration errore sconosciuto ma ok

Post by sa80libero »

ciao.

no at all. lol but for diag i use kts. yes work the latest 2.0 and 2.1 with can elm because prevouse version is impossible with k_lines and old 1.6.
this software is only readers value with very bad values and can't diag your engines. but good job for low cost device.

Hello yani. multiecuscan work perfectly on my 159 with elm 327 1.3a and when i make DPF regeneration he work ,start at 3000rpm for +-5min and finish ok.
odometre at last regeneration is ok 0km but obsturation is stay a 70% the same at the begining and continu give up and no reset to 0% or 10% like ecu regeneration .

Hi,

How long does it take to regenerate the DPF?
Because I've set a timeout of ~3 minutes... and if the procedure does not finish for that time the program shows error.

Ok, I see. I will increase the timeout to 10 minutes in next release.

I think, however, that if you are patient and don't stop your engine after those 3 minutes, you can successfully finish the regeneration process (even though Multiecuscan has stopped and reported an error).

DPF Regeneration for 159 2.4mjet

Post by vkiosses »

This is an interresting discussion regarding regneration on a 159 - 1.9. I have just had my EGR changed as the car basically shut down on my. My travel is short city runs. I presume is teh main cause of my engine woes. Choice is sell or do more maintenace. So teh question is, can I do a forced regen on my 2.4l 159, how often and what is the impact on engine for doing this?
