Hello and greetings to all of you,
For over a week I'm trying to do a PROXI Alignment on my Peugeot Boxer (same model as the Fiat Ducato Typ 250) and getting really frustrated. I have tried 4 cheap Chinese OBD2 ELM327 devices and also removed the 120ohm resistor on one of them. Then I bought the expensive OBDLink CX, which didn't work on my computer and finally bought the OBDLink LX, which I am trying right now. I was able to connect all of them in MES, however, when trying to connect to "CAN Setup / PROXI Alginment Procedure (250)" (as well as to other modules), I get the error "Failed to connect to Body Computer (BCM)".
Depending on the module I try to connect, I also get the error message "ELM327 -> ECU Connection failed!". When testing the interfaced in MES Settings, everythink was ok (with all the devices).
I have a registered licence for MES and use the yellow adapter cable by the way.
Can anyone help me please? All I want is to disconnect the old radio in order to install a new one and the PROXI Alignment procedure keeps me stuck here...
Thank you in advance!

This interface is compatible with ELM 327 1.4! Should connect properly with all CAN modules.
The cheap chinese devices had a speed rate of 38400 by the way, while the expensive OBDLINK LX (Bluetooth), only has 9600 (which I can't change):
Please connect the interface to a car!

No Adapter works for PROXI Alignment
Re: No Adapter works for PROXI Alignment
The default speed for MES is 38400. HOWEVER for some vehicles and Proxy then MES will switch to 115200.
You have to select interface type as “ELM 327 1.3/1.4/1.4b/2.1 (High Speed)”. It is the last item on bottom of the list. Then leave the port settings at 38400.
The speed of the ELM interface is automatically changed to 115200 during a diagnostic session by Multiecuscan. After disconnecting it is restored back to 38400.

Re: No Adapter works for PROXI Alignment
Thank you for your quick response.
I tried the interface type ELM / Gerneric OBD (Bluetooth), as well as all the other available types (most of them are for USB Connection, which I don't have), including the ELM 327 (USB) in HIGH SPEED mode. I also tried both port setting 38400 and 115200. Unfortunately, I still get the error messages "Failed to connect to Body Computer (BCM)" when trying the PROXI Alignment. I also still get the same error message, or the error message "ELM327 -> ECU Connection failed!" when trying to connect to other modules.
Do you or anyone else have another idea?

Re: No Adapter works for PROXI Alignment
May be time to contact MES Support and use the Send Report/Log function.

I contacted the support yesterday and hope they can help me.
In case anyone else has an idea, I'm still grateful for all tipps and possible solutions. I also bought the OBDLink MX+ and a new yellow adapter cable (just to be sure, that the first one wasn't broken), it's still not working though.

Re: No Adapter works for PROXI Alignment
It finally worked, using the OBDLink ScanTool EX USB. It seems like the Bluetooth interfaces had a bad connection (the speed was always set to 9.600), while the speed for the OBDLink ScanTool EX USB was set to 115200
