I edit the post. In first post is ELM327 1.2 (1.5 fake version). Now, here is the plastic ELM interface.

Hello,I'm very interested in this mod. Could you give us more details? The picture doesn't show where the other side of the jumper is connected. Pin 6 of the obd plug?

No, no connect pin 6 from OBD connector. Pin 6 from Microchip to 5v. and remove/unsolder resistor R24 from sheme. Is this :) When this manipulation try to connect with 34800 boud. :)

Brilliant!

I tested, it works! 38400!

Does it actually changes the speed or just fools the application?

Is it safe?

There is a difference in the CAN protocol. There ECU support at higher speeds.

Should not have a damage control unit or ELM. However, do it at your own risk!

For me, this modification was necessary in consequence of the use of some other software the connection with CAN-BUS and using this ELM327.

OK. So, have you been using this and didn't have any problems?

Where did you get the idea?

I use it and no problems. I took the idea from another forum where they describe in detail the operation and say it works and no problem.
