Guys, I need some help! I replaced a faulty injector in the Alfa Stelvio 2.0 engine and performed the fuel supply circuit purge procedure (in MES 5.3). The procedure completed successfully; following the instructions, I turned off the ignition, waited 60 seconds, and tried to start the engine. Unfortunately, the engine didn’t start at all (no reaction to start button), and the "check engine" light began flashing. I performed a proxy alignment, thinking it might be necessary due to the new injector, but the light is still flashing. Error P1192 appeared: "Fuel supply manifold bleed."
At this point, I can’t rerun the purge procedure because MES returns an error that preconditions are not met. I also can’t activate the fuel pump relay through MES. I’ve double-checked all connections, and everything is correct. There’s fuel in the rail—I removed the pressure sensor to verify.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on what else I can try?

Re: Fuel error after purging air from fuel supply - MES 5.3 Alfa Stelvio 2.0
most likely bug in MES procedure.
try with latest AlfaOBD - same bug is fixed there or use other diagnostic scanner like Launch (verified and procedure works), Autel (haven't tried this one).
until you re-do this procedure, car won't crank.

Had the same thing with a Jeep Renegade. What we ended up doing was bump start the car (manual transmission). After that no problems.
Maybe activating the starter with a wire does the trick?

I short connected the starter and the engine was cranking for more than a minute, but it didn't start...abarthmultijet wrote: ↑10 Nov 2024, 10:17 Had the same thing with a Jeep Renegade. What we ended up doing was bump start the car (manual transmission). After that no problems.
