C1212-55 Help

Hello,

I had a different body computer in my car before, and I changed it to aath punto. but abs esp doesn't work and i get c1212-55 error. How can I fix this guys? can you help me?

Well all I can say is that error code is:

Control unit EPB section - PROXI configuration – NOT configured OR Proxy data contains values “invalid” or not correct

EPB = ABS and Electric Parking Brake

Does your car have an electric parking brake?

what car is your car? engine, year? what car body computer comes from?
is this proxi from new body ECU or your's?

SOLVED!!!

well--- my findings are --- there is configuration fault with MES.
ABS is either looking for torque value OR this C1212-55 is a configuration error code (general purpose)
set vehicle type to non-spark ignition engine and do proxi-alignment--- see if this resolves.
my particular vehicle is Chrysler Ypsilon 1.2 8v
I noticed default setting in engine type waS 1.3MULTIJET
i CHANGED THIS TI 1.2 8V ; DID PROXI-ALIGNMENT and ABS light came on after reset.
(of course diesels to not have ignition system)
changed back to 1.3 multijet and ABS light out-----
Go figure eh!???!

took 3 days to resolve--- going back thru old logs etc.
