ECU detection issue

Post by mikocho »

Hi everyone,

I have a Fiat Cinquecento MY93 900ie with a Magneti Marelli ECU Ref : IAW 6F.S0/1619-57

I can't connect the ECU to Multiecuscan because I have this error message :

(Multiecuscan 4.7)
27/12/2020 15:10:50
Fiat Cinquecento i.e.
Magneti Marelli IAW 06F Evoluta Injection (ECO)
--------------------------------------------------------------

ECU ISO code: B0 80 AB 91 C1
Spare part number:
WARNING: Unknown ISO code. Module cannot be identified!

I use KKL cable and 3pin adaptator. They are correctly recognized by the software.

I suppose my ECU isn't in the Multiecuscan database right ?

The only Cinquecento listed items that MES supports are:

Magneti Marelli IAW 06F Evoluta Injection (ECO) |INFO|DTC|PRM|ACT| KL 3-Pin
Magneti Marelli IAW 06F Injection |INFO|DTC|PRM|ACT| KL 3-Pin
Magneti Marelli IAW 16F Injection |INFO|DTC|PRM|ACT| KL 3-Pin

Suggest you look at the Supported Vehicles List (http://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx) and search on 6F looking for IAW 6F or IAW 06F. You will find that the Panda and Siecento models use similar ECUs do try to connect by selecting these models (all versions 900cc, 1000cc etc) as one of these may have the same ISO code as your ECU.
