Hello

To be able to read at your Fiat 500, the airbag control unit
You will need the yellow adapter (A3) as the CAN bus must be transferred.

Hello Leek

Think it out closely, you can connect to MotorECU and ABS without adapter manufacture
But with the yellow adapter you get created a connection !!!
So I guess the first one error in the adapter plug !!

question:
Can you handle the yellow adapter to connect other controllers ??

Do you have the registered version of Multiecuscan?

I bought an ELM Bluetooth interface and I can't seem to get it to work. I get the CONNECTION TIMEOUT message when I try to connect to engine ECU. If I test the interface with MES I get the following response:

COMMAND: ATZ
RESPONSE:

ELM327 v2.1

WARNING: This interface is not compatible with ELM 327 1.3! Will not connect to any CAN module.

During engine interogation, the yellow led on the interface blinks. I activated High latency mode. I selected the correct IO Port from Device Manager. I read here that I need to install the ftdi drivers. I don't understand why, I don't even know if I have a ftdi chip inside.

Please some help.

Hello,

I would like to ask your help; I bought a "little blue" bluetooth ELM327 mini interface; I tried to connect to my FIAT STILO 1.6 (2002, 5 doors) and the next happened:

- connected the ELM to car - ok
- connect with laptop to ELM via BT (MES) - ok
- try to connect to ECU: !PROBLEM! Indicated a lot of fault code, dashboard got black and computer said: LOOSE CONNECTION... after this nothing happened, I could not close the doors with the remote and I have car securiry failure etc... everything goes wriong... :( After this only the ECU reset helped... (accu contact remove)... It happened again when I tried (and the ame with Torque with my phone). The ELM327 is this:

Do you have any idea: is the resistor removing can help?

Thanks,
Norbert
