Hi all,
Now I'm confused as hell!
I have the same ELM interface as described by sprint750 (pics on 2nd page of thread). His seems to work fine. I bought this a fortnight ago from the ebay user newerer.
The Car is a 2003 Alfa 147 1.6TS. When I try to connect, I can access the CANbus and perform a Proxy Alignment, and get all the CAN Info I need.
I can't however, access the climate control module, or the service light reset. I already have a modified KKL cable, which i modified myself, so don't need the ELM to access any of the Airbag/Engine etc.
Anybody able to tell me if it's actually possible to access this with my car? and if I need to make any mods to my interface?
Andy

Is there a known problem with the newer ELM 327 bluetooth odb2 modules ?
I can read out the CPU, but don't have the adapter cable 3 yet for my alfa giulietta.
I've got the pics here : it's version v1.4b
tnx !

Hello
You can use this Bluetooth interface the ECU read your Giuiletta?
Then, your interface is not described in the CAN error
For all controls on Giuiletta be read via CAN
Buy yourself the described cable 3 then you should also be able to read the other controls.
Or, you CAN build a switch in the interface
For accurate visual inspection make a picture with plug is removed

But i don't have the yellow cable, I've just ordered one. So I'l have to wait to test the CAN-info
So probably I don't need to desolder something in the module ?
Tnx!
