2015 500x 4x4 MA 170 - 7'' Radio Upgrade

Hi all,

I've a 2015 500x 4x4 Multiair 170 with Beats Audio..

A few months ago i've found a 7'' newer radio unit and i've changed my original 6.5'' to it at an electronic shop.

The guy from the shop is using MES 4.6 or 4.5, and he extended the proxy, but when we tried to activate the android auto and carplay, it gives the transmission error. So we couldn't activate them.
Now the unit is working without problem but mileage is flashing. I thought that the car thinks that the old unit is still on

So I need the correct proxy alignment and i want to activate the aa and carplay.. Please help

And do I need to find the "newer" usb sockets?
Because when we activated the aa and carplay, the original usb's are not compatible i think, when we changed the usb cable from the back of the unit, we can use the android auto from phone...

(By the way, I've also AlfaOBD at my phone, and yesterday i tried something else and TripA-B is also activated... Before that it wasn't working...)

Hi,
transmission error after proxy alignment is a typical issue of 2015 500x and Renegade with AT9.
I don't know why, but it could be related to the body computer firmware from the first year of production ...

For U7 with CarPlay you have to change USB unit... But There are diferent types for models to 2020 and after 2020... Older is 2USB with AUX and New is with 2USB only. ItDepends also on firmware version of your U7... So check it correctly...
About gearbox failure - problem after manually extension is in proxi lenght value... 500X has proxi lenght controlled...
So share your proxi configuration and i will repair it for you...

should the value of a specific byte be corrected or does it need a specific number of bytes?

Specific byte value must be set at current bytes number.
Usually proxi extent is 235 or 250 bytes.
At older cars with short proxi with about +/- 150 bytes, need to be extended...

We have the same car and i also bought Uconnect 7, did you manage to solve this issue ?
