Oil change - service module

Post by dbonnici »

Hi, I m evaluating the software on my 2014 MiTo and I would trying to test connectivity with the service module to reset the oil change message. I m using a Bluetooth odb2 vgate connection with my laptop. All connections test Pas successfully but the connection fails to initiate with the service module. I also bought and connected the yellow cable but still no luck. That said it does connects with ECU and other modules.

Is this normal with the demo version or am I doing something wrong ?

Tks

FYI the Oil Change Reset is only valid for vehicles fitted with DPF. But you probably already knew this? Also this function IS NOT on the Service Module but is on the Engine ECU under Adjustments.

I've not tried to use the trial/unregistered version of MES with any vehicle so have no experience what it says/displays when scanning and connecting to a vehicle.

Hi, and sorry for my late reply. Yes mine is with DPF. I will check it out but I still would need find a way how access the service module in order to update the next service. From my research I found that the 'Service Module' will contain parameters as per screenshots attached. Am I missing something or doing something wrong.

Thanks
