ECU not responding

Post by P.Björk »

Hi all
New to this forum and have some questions. I have a ELM327 WiFi that connects perfect to my Ducato -12 if I choose “scan”. So I bought the soft, but it is impossible to do anything else the just scan?? Not possible to any ECU for any car. Just ECU not responding check connection.
Is it that it takes a while before registration works or did I just loose 65€?

Anyone that has an ide what’s wrong? Can’t even connect to engine ecu?? Works with ok with CarScanner and shows parameters and stuf. With Multiecuscan there is nothing, just Scan mode that works??

As you have connectivity with other software with your hardware but not MES then as a purchaser of MES you need to contact MES Support directly.

Please let us all know how you get on and connected again.

Hi guys
I have done some homework and found the fault for connection issue.
Main issue was that my iPad connected to wrong ip number. Had to change to 192.168.0.10 instead of 192.168.1.11. So when that was sorted out I can connect to Engine ECU and read faults and parameters.
I know it sound strange, but I can tell you I have spent quite many hours in the car testing back and forth. To many if you ask my wife...
Then I recognized that my Fiat Ducato (motorhome) is a Facelift model. So I need to order a Yellow Adpt 3 to get CAN connection.

Finally today I got it and could read the BODY Computer.
So now I have rest "Service indicator" and added "Out door temperature" to my Dashbord :)
