Good day
I am trying to diagnose a possible faulty MAF sensor. My vehicle is a 159 2.2 JTS.
1. Air temperature seems to be reading fine on the sensor.
2. I get a reading on the Air Quantity parameter. But... on the "Mass air flow (throttle closed)" parameter it remain on a 0 Kg/h reading with no change with REVS.
Can anyone please help me out and tell me the difference between Air quantity vs Mass air flow?
Also would a 0 Kg/h reading indicate a faulty MAS sensor.
Symptoms include rough idle at cold start, hunting at idle, and struggle to start the vehicle when cold.

Try to disconnect the maf sensor, the vehicle goes into a worst case scenario but still works. If the engine running improves with the maf sensor disconnected than you have a faulty maf sensor.
