Hi
Since a couple of days I have a P1619 light on after a rough or missed start.
In the past I had very difficult starts due to relay dirtiness (ECU voltage was 1.5 below battery and very unstable). Since then no problems...until these couple of days.
The P1619 is a general ECU failure but cannot see if related to a sensor, another power or ground issue, or a failing ECU...
Any hints ?
PS : the error goes either off alone after 6 or 7 normal starts, or by MES of course.

Re: Alfa 156 - P1619
Hi,
seems, as the previous problem, a side effect of a poor +12 V connectivity.
The difference is that this time, MES won"t disconnect, because the voltage drops a little bit higher, I guess.
Cleaning the relays once more, and all +12V connectors brought me, again a steady 13.9-14.0 V at the ECU.
So far no more P1619 errors. Makes sense, it was due to a low voltage, all kind of error can occur.
