SGW Module Detected

Post by ricocerda01 »

Hi,

For 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.0 Turbo

When connecting to BODY - CAN SETUP/PROXI Alignment, I get WARNING SGW MODULE DETECTED.
I have SGW BYPASS INSTALLED from Alfissimo and they have confirmed SGW BYPASS should not be the issue.
I made sure SGW BYPASS is installed correctly.

Here is a pic of the Warning: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1j94MvPeia3o-zCKLyt0dPn2jgYYHTOKP

I am using Registered Multiecuscan 4.5R1 HARDWARE KEY 786F71621503-196C40

How can this be fixed?

Thank you,

Have you studied the "Proxy realignment procedure"? Not sure, never did it, but it sounds to me like a starting point. As far as I now every time you add or modify a module it should be realigned. On my Renegade when I acces the page I get a message with "not needed" or smth, which means all modules are correctly aligned with the main computer. Even if you did not add or remove or modify anything you should check that.
But remember, it's just a suggestion based on my last days reading looking for other functions.
