Punto 199 / BJ.2012 Blue&Me removal
Re: Punto 199 / BJ.2012 Blue&Me removal
I've managed to remove the Blue&Me module and stop the blinking odometer on a 2012 Alfa Giulietta.
I think the most important thing is to disconnect the battery before removing the Blue&Me module from the CAN bus network. I reckon this applies to all modules which are removed from the CAN network, like headunits/radio's etc.
I removed the Blue&Me unit without disconnecting the battery at first. It resulted in a permanent fault code in the body computer which (among others) leads to a blinking odometer. The fault code couldn't be cleared. Then I reconnected the blue and me module and cleared the fault codes. Finally I disconnected the battery and the blue and me module. After reconnecting the battery I could clear all fault codes in the body computer and the blinking of the odometer stopped.
