Stelvio service reset

Hi everybody,

before doing my first Service reset on my Stelvio I would like to ask if it is enough just to use the option reset or do I have mandatory to write the date of service (using that specific option) and to write down on how many km will I schedule my next service?
As I have a Diesel I also know I need to do the oil service reset. Is it important if this step is done before or after the service reset itself?

I believe (based on my experience on other cars) then you just need to do the Service Reset and the next service mileage and date will be increased by their respective intervals. (e.g.12,000/18,000 miles and 365 days.

Whilst MES does allow you to also set other values (mileages/days) when I have tried this then this has not always worked depending on the vehicle/service node.
