Modifying ELM for ABS.

Post by M0ises »

Hi, I´ve been reading about how to modify the elm 327 for accesing to the ABS. It seems to be just making a bridge between pin 1 and 7. But i have a doubt, it´s necesary to have only one conexion or both can be conected at the same time?
In other words, signal comes through pin 7 to he "motherboard" so can i have conected pin 7 and 1 simultaniously with a bridge or i have to "disconect" pin 7 and then this wire conect it in pin 1 to acces to abs because only one can be conected?
IIf both can be connected then I make a bridge if not i will put a selector.

Hello

To read the ABS
use the green adapter

connect a cable or bridge from pin 7 to pin 1

Then this interface can not be more but for Mito, Giulietta, 4c
to be used
