Activation fog lights on Alfa Romeo Mito

Post by kickz »

Hello,

can anybody tell me, if it is possible to activate the fog lights on an Alfa Romeo Mito 0,9 TwinAir (2013)

In my car there are the original electric wires for the fog lights, also the fuse and the relais. I bought allready a new switch with the fog light function.
But the fog lights dont work. It seems that it must be activatet in the body computer. Two of my car service stations told me, that its only possible
when the bodycomputer ist changed to a new one with this function.

So before I order the software and adapters i wanted to know if multiecuscan can handle this.

In this Youtube video its shown on a Fiat Punto: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCzaAr7LM9U

Thanks for your answers!

Hello,

I know, its been almost 10 years.
But did you fix that problem with the fog lights on your MiTo ?
I have the same problem - I have a 2010 MiTo without Fog lights - but now there are fog lights
installed - but the system "doesnt know" them .. I got the buttons "with the fog lights"
but I cant put them on.

So with the OBD 2 programming I think it should be possible to "program" the system to know that there are fog lights, no ?

Thank you

Never tried for myself but you can change in the body computer that there are fog lights pressent or not.

You can change it with multiecuscan
