Finally got round to trying the new 500X support and note the following.
1) Vehicles dashboard reads 6796 miles (10,937km). MES reports the following: Engine ECU reports 12,475km. Service Odometer reports 10,935km. Dashboard 10,935km. Yet another ECU reporting different mileages
2) MES Dashboard Outside Temperature parameter reports 123 deg.C. Clearly wrong. Vehicle dashboard shows 22 deg.C. Possibly a conversion factor error in MES?
3) MES Dashboard Gear Engaged parameter does not display any gear being engaged. (my 500X is 6 speed manual and MES only shows N,1,2,3,4,5,6,R possibilities so I don't think there is a confusion with the automatic box?)
4) On the MES Service Adjustments - NEXT SERVICE KM RESET - the information panel says "NOTE: For diesel cars with DPF filter you also have to connect to the engine ECU and execute "Oil Change" procedure!" I think you *may* also need to add for "NOTE: For MultiAir engine cars you also have to connect to the engine ECU and execute "Oil Change" procedure!" ?????? I say this because in the engine ECU adjustments for Oil Change MES says "This procedure will reset all the adaptive parameters of the UniAir module from the control unit after an engine oil change. Turn the key OFF and wait 60 seconds after successful execution of this procedure to let the ECU reset its internal registers." I'm not sure if it is UniAir or MultiAir or other so you may wish check this out.
For now the rest of the MES stuff looks OK.
