Empty PROXY File in BC

RE. 2003 Stilo JTD 115hp 8 valve.

Trying to connect to "CAN Setup / PROXY Alignment Procedure" with MES v2.5, I got a red warning message "Empty PROXY File in BC". I can connect to all other NODES, and everything on the car is working normally. I tried with 2 different interfaces (ELM 1.3 and 1.4), but get the same message.

Anyone any idea why I am getting this message?

I've get the same error, and cant connect to the proxy. All other things are working fine.

I've tried connect several times and then get another error 'check connection, and port'

Now when I'm trying to connect every 2. times works.

I have the same problem with my alfa gt 3.2 2005.

Or it's a connection problem or it says emtpy proxy file in bc. I don't know how to solve it.

I use gendan ELM v1.3 and windows 8.1 wint multi 2.6.

Everything works only the odo is flashing always.

I wonder if it really is a connectionr problem, the ELM v1.3 or so?

Will the obd key be a much better option maybe?

empty proxi file is either sign of bad connection, something wrong with CAN bus network or BCM has been replaced and not properly restored.
