I have an alfa spider t spark 1999. have purchased multiecuscan diagnostic lead to turn off the light but can anyone help with using this?
have plugged into 16 pin port in car and pressed F9 and seems to OK up to this point but when I press F10 it does not connect to ECU to turn off airbag. Also have a 3 pin adaptor with this cable but does anyone know if I have to use this? and if so where is the port for the 3 pin adaptor?
thanks

Re: airbag light
Hello
You should first read through the procedure for connecting interface.
I guess you have no knowledge of what you're doing.
1. You have a 16-pin OBD diagnostic plug in your Spider ??
have your spider pin OBD plug no 16 you still need
a 3 pin adapter instead of the red adapter
If your spider the 3 pin connector has is in the passenger footwell
2. You need a KKL Interface (switchable or red adapter) ???
3. FTDI driver to operate the interface to your laptop
4. The settings in MES for the use of the KKL with the software
5. The dashboard lights turn otherwise is a reading impossible
Did you all this ??

Re: airbag light
The 1999 spider does not have a 3 pin connector in the passenger footwell? Have looked all over and cannot see this
Re: airbag light
Hello
Well then either a switchable KKL
Buy or a simple KKL and the red adapter
