ELM 327 interface connection

Hi all mutiecuscan users !

I recently purchased an ELM 327 to USB interface in order to get a diagnostics tool for my car, a 1999 FIAT Punto 1,2 8V, with approximately 118,000 km (73,337 miles) on the clock.

I downloaded the 1.9 free version of the multiecuscan software, and tried to make a connection to my car. I was able to connect when selecting the engine feature, but not when selecting the dashboard feature. Also, when connecting to the engine feature, some of the functions in the actuators section did not make the corresponding warning light appear on the instrument. When selecting 'failure indicator light' it worked fine, however when selecting the 'engine temperature light' , nothing happened.

Any ideas ?
