Hello,
During two days, I had the following error code on my on-board car computer : "faire vérifier le moteur" in french, that means in English "please check your engine car". In addition, I had an orange motor LED on the car dashboard, with no DNA and no start&stop.
For that reason, I used my ELM327 connector, with the MultiEcuScan tool, in a registered version, to check the problem. The tool shows me the following error : P0685 - Main relay - Intermittent -> see the following picture
http://hpics.li/10f59db
The error code is : P0685 ECM/PCM Power Relay Control Circuit /Open
What does it mean ? What is the problem ?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Regards

Re: P0685 Main relay error code
Hello,
Have you tried to clear fault and see if it happens again ?
Happened at operating time 0 minutes, quite strange ?
More strange, battery voltage was very low, less 8 volt.
Did you change / disconnect your battery ? Have problem with ?

Re: P0685 Main relay error code
No I have not tried to clear the fault, because otherwise the mechanic will not see the problem.
I think that the information at the bottom of the screen was when I took the screenshot, and not when the problem happened. When I did the check, the motor was turned-off (only on battery); it is perhaps the reason why the datas are strange.

The mechanic will do the same : clear the error and see if it come back.
I'm not very trained with MES, but the data should be when the problem happened.
Anyway, 8V for the battery is way too low, you car can't work normally with this voltage. Perhaps a start, you should to check
