Hi I have a Fiat Punto 1.2 16V 2001 188A5000:

I bought this cable "Click" http://www.scantool-direct.co.uk/multip ... -121-p.asp
but when I connect it to my car and do a scan only 2 things
ABS system and engine system no airbag what it might be.

I have tried to put the cable in all settings, if I run a latency test on the cable set to pin 3 I get time out
I also have a normal VAG KKL cable when I connect it and make a scan I get resutalt same as the cable with micro switc no airbag appears
Can it be the control unit for aribag there is damage

Sorry for my english
Regards Mikael

Hello Mikael

Have you asked your KKL on position 3?
If your airbag control unit supplied with 12 volts?

Greetings Eddy

info from scantool
Easy to use... No need to open and modify the interface, making it only suitable for one module
You do not need to use the coloured adapter cables, with this interface just select the appropriate pin number with the built in micro switch and diagnose the selected module

This cable and the MultiECUScan software will read and clear faults in the following modules.

Engine (Pin number 7)
ABS (Pin number 1)
Airbag (Pin number 3)
Climate control (Pin number 9)
Xenon headlights controller (Pin number 12)
TRW Type Electric Power steering (Pin number 9)
Gearbox (Pin number 7)
When using on 3 pin diagnostic connectors, set interface switch to pin number 7

My laptop wher i run ECU and FCU is a Acer 3Ghz 8Gb ram and windows 7 home

If you can connect to ABS and engine ECUs than you should connect to airbag ECU as well.
Have you chacked all settings in com port? Latency should be set at 1.
Maybe something is wrong with cable. Check connections from inside...
