Live parameters reading procedure

Hello everyone and thanks in forward.

I would like to check live parameters reading procedure in order to avoid any possible problems

1. Start Multiscan and Connect ELM to diagnostic OBD switch in the car
2. Turn key to MAR
3. Press Connect in Multiscan and check desired parameters in parameter window
4. Start the engine
5. Take the car for a drive and watch/save parameters

Nothing basically wrong with what you posted. As long as MultiECUScan is happy then you can basically rely upon captured data.

The only thing I would change is step 3 and 4.
First I would start the engine and then I would connect MES and car.

Sometimes happen, especially with ELM based interfaces, that connections gets lost so again you need to press "Connect" button on MES to get connection.
