Alfa 156 JTS ECU reset - also resets throttle??

Hi,

Was wondering if the ECU reset on my 2003 Alfa 156 JTS also resets the throttle? I have done it in the past with fiatecuscan and it seemed to have worked. Now with multiecuscan it does not seem to work? Could it be an issue of cable adaptor - I just thought of that - I have all cables so will give it a try.
