Fiat Stilo MW Proxi Alignment failed

I have attempted to help a fellow Fiat club member out with a couple of things using multiscan. We needed to do a proxy alignment, but this fails with error "configuration not support by system error"...what??! this is the log:

What kind of adjustments has been made before so you needed to do PROXY?

hi, the chap I was helping had a new dashboard fitted due to his old one failing...

Yep. Dashboards can die on Stilos.
Sometimes happened to me the same thing, message "failed", but I turn key off for some seconds and later I can see no blinking display and rpm and speed needles are working fine. Obviously it is a bug in MES.
