Hi, I'm trying to log the wheel speeds of my car. When I connect to the ECU, the ABS, ASR and VDC lights come on, I can select the sensors, get a reading and all is well. However, as per the correct function, after 100 meters without braking or loss of traction, the warning lights reset, and I lose comms with the ECU. The data recording stops. I'm connecting via an ELM 327 Bluetooth module. How can I make it stay connected so I can find which wheel sensor is giving me the fault i'm looking for? ABS is activating for no reason.

That won't help in this situation;
I have a 2002 147 2.0 Selespeed. It has a VDC problem. There is no error to be found with MultiECUScan. The VDC activates around corners. Sometimes. It applies the brakes in varying amounts, without the driver touching the brake pedal. The activation of the brakes is accompanied by the dash lights. It is as if the car is sliding, but it is not. This is on dry pavement, and not on the limit of traction. Scared to drive like that while this is happening.

I tried to log the wheel speed sensors, but it only logs for a short time, and low speed. Anyone got any ideas?

Since your error on a curve crossing occurs I suspect an error in
Steering head sensor
Have you tried a setting again?

I suspect a fault in the steering head

Thanks Eddy,
That's what I'm beginning to suspect - or possibly the yaw sensor. I'd still like to identify which one, but the logging facility in Multiecuscan will not stay active for long enough!

I sometimes heard that a connection with a Bluetooth interface is not stable yet.

Do you have a ELM usb?
Maybe the connection is more stable?

This problem is usually because of a steering wheel position sensor.

Steering angle calibration can help if it is not broken.
