Hi guys.
The car is Alfa 147 2.0TS. Doesn't start at all. Engine completely died. No spark on plugs. Looks like crank sensor is dead but I have to be pretty sure before replacing it. I took off spark plugs and cranked engine for about 20s. Live data from rpm sensor looks pretty weird. Sensor is seeing rpm's for a moment and then reports 0, than again about 200rpms and then again 0. It might be a dead sensor? I assume it's not normal situation.

Thanks for your help.
Alfa 147 2.0TS crank sensor failure? (log inside)
Re: Alfa 147 2.0TS crank sensor failure? (log inside)
If this is with a VAGCOM interface then the 0 could be caused by communication error (due to low power supply during cranking). So, don't blame the sensor yet.
Any stored errors?

Dead crank sensor. Fitted new one and everything is ok.
