I have a '94 Tipo. 1.6ie
I recently bought a VAG-KKL serial to USB adapter, plus the 3 pin older-Fiat cable to connect to the diagnostics socket of the ECU.
The ECU is a Mono Motronic 1.7, that equipped also Dedras 1.6ie at the time.
I know the Tipo isn't supported, but I saw that MonoMotronics were supported (on other models : Thema 2.0, 155 1.7TS...), so I gave a try.
The communication is OK (although having a high latency warning), and the scan reports this :
Engine
UNKNOWN/UNSUPPORTED
ISO Code: 46 85 8A 92 BC
I tried to connect using a 155 1.7 TS profile :
Then I could see error codes, but no parameters.
I saw a Lancia Y 1.4 entry for the 1.7.3 MA MonoMotronic (but in the registered version
...)I tried but only on Simulation mode. Is there a chance it could work better with this entry ?
On another hand, is there a way to help developers support this ECU ? logs, anything ? Is there a hope that it could be once supported ?
