Punto 1.9 JTD 2000my Proxi Alignment Failed

Hi,
I changed the dashboard node, and attempted to do a Proxi alignment. It failed. Part is a compatible part. I've done several dash swaps on petrol cars without problem. Do you have any ideas on how to proceed. If you have some beta release, I can get the car back to test it.
Thanks,
Rickey.

This error usually happens when you try to install an instrument clusted from gasoline car into a diesel car.
Are you sure that the new cluster is from a diesel car?

Ah, I didnt know that was not possible. I assumed because the cluster has a glow plug light in it, that it could be adapted to diesel.
Is there any way to change the coding with a soldering iron, i.e. can I put a different dump onto a processor or eeprom to make it a diesel cluster ?
Thanks,
Rickey.

Yes, you can copy the memory from the old cluster. I have not tried this method personaly, but many users say that it works 100%.

I think it is the same thing like with instrument cluster in panda. New instrument cluster you can put to both diesel and benzine. But used one from benzine you can't put to diesel. I don't why it happens.
In panda something is written in 95160 eeprom memory. When you download to eeprom memory data from new one it is working.
Yani can force in proxi diesel or benzine configuration?

No, unfortunately I cannot force the dashboard to accept diesel configuration when it rejects it...
However, I can "fool" it that the car is gasoline.... but this is not a good solution...

There was also the oil level indicator in the JTD cluster....

I guess its the QFP64 MCU HC08, as nothing else looks like it is or has memory ?
