Hi Yani,

I have few questions regarding description of error “05”.
I have been working on Lancia Kappa 2.0, made in 1997.
Each time when I connect with FES I got the error called “05” but it has no destripcion.

So Yani can you tell me what this error 05 means?

Error code 05 is "RPM sensor" in M2.10.4. I can't find error code 05 for M2.10.3.
Anyway, can you send me a report after reding this error to be sure that it is not some kind of bug.

I even changed the name of the topic so we do not need open new topics for some error codes that don't have description.
I have few questions regarding description of error “P1684”.
I have been working on Fiat Stilo 1.6 16V, made in 2001.
Each time when I connect with FES I got the error called “P1684” but it has no description.

The reason for this fault is that ECU has received invalid signal from the sensor. The fault is not detected now, but it is stored in memory. Clear fault codes, and observe for future appearance of the same fault. Dashboard warning light was activated for this fault.

But the problem is that on another FIAT fault codes list I found this:
P1684 Motorised throttle (plausibility)
So right now I have no idea what this fault code mean...
I will wait for Yanis respond...

And I have no Idea what to think

So, the car is Marea 1.8 with pre-98 HITACHI ECU.
I just checked the Hitachi documentation. Error 47 means "Lambda sensor short circuit to Ground".

Error P1684 on this engine means "Throttle position learning".
