Hey there,

If i connect my ecu to my laptop, i use a elm327 v1.4 usb to obd16-pins, thats connected whith obd16 to alfa/fiat/lancia 3-pins, whith only the red cable for on the battery.
There is no black cable on this one. I can communicate whith the ecu, it only gives the error that the iso is nog right.

I'v chosen the fiat Bravo/brava '99 155 20v, my bravo is a fiat bravo 2.0 20v 155 hgt, 2001. It should be the right one i think.

It also brings up the ''latancy too high'' message.

Can anyone help me getting this right. I Also can't use it to read out the abs or airbags.

For "latency to high" see this topic:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2040&p=5805&hilit=kwp2000#p5805

And for "ISO code not right" - I think that ECU you selected is not the right one. Maybe your ECU is not supported yet?!?
In general you can work just fine with other ECUs but each time you will get this error message "ISO code not right"! ;) Just ingore the message...

Thanks, i"d read about the high latancy. I think i can work that out. Next time i"l ignore the iso error.

I wil order a vagcom cable whith the switch, so i can use it for abs, airbag.

Then i can work out the faults in the system.
