Alfa Romeo 147 - reset Self Adaptation Parameters.
Alfa Romeo 147 - reset Self Adaptation Parameters.
- in Alfadiag reset Self adaptation parameters requires a Key-off then wait 90 seconds and a Key-on to complete the procedure.
- but in FES 2.7.2 this is true ?
- no any help about this delay-time-procedure.

I guess you are talking about engine ECU self adaptation reset.
What is your engine/ECU?

- this procedure is not true
"viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2005".
- look at alfadiag and read parameters FRA (lambda Multiplacation Factor Bank 1 Current load ), TRA(lambda Additional Factor Bank 1) also Lambda Regulation Factor Bank 1, Pre-cat.
- before and after reset Sellf Adapatation.

Re: Alfa Romeo 147 - reset Self Adaptation Parameters.
Ok, you are right. I read the documentation again and there is a requirement for key OFF - wait - key ON after procedure.
Here is a more detailed explanation which was submitted by one of the users:
After execute of procedure, place the ignition key in the OFF position and wait for 30 seconds.
Place the ignition key in the ON position and wait for 30 seconds.
Re-establish the connection with the ECU. Enter the Parameters section and check the following parameters:
Throttle position learning
Throttle learn results
Disconnect the diagnostic equipment.
Place the ignition key in the OFF position and wait for 30 seconds.
Start up the engine without acting on the accelerator pedal.
During this procedure, from the moment when the instrument panel is supplied with power until the end of learning, do not press the accelerator, brake or clutch pedals.
Test the vehicle by driving for several kilometers and then (when the engine is warmed up) check that it is idling correctly.

That manual procedure works just as written for EDC15... but not for EDC16 .bubu321 wrote:@coolbits

I do not have alfadiag.
Cannot find throttle learning or reset functions in FES...

How long is learning proccess, how long we have to wait?yani wrote: Disconnect the diagnostic equipment.

Hi everybody,
I've just bought FES, so I am new to the software and on this forum.
As discussed in this topic, I'm looking for a way to reset the Learned parameters of the ecu of our AR 147 1.6 (2002). I supose I will have to follow the procedure as laid out above. When you say: "check the following parameters:
Throttle position learning
Throttle learn results" what exactly should I look for?
greeting,
Robert
Re: Alfa Romeo 147 - reset Self Adaptation Parameters.
- check the status of parameters.
Throttle Lower Limit Self-Adaptation , VAL == 0: Learning
Throttle Lower Limit Self-Adaptation, Val == 11: Learning Complete.

Throttle Lower Limit Self-Adaptation, Val == 11: Learning Complete.
