Multiecuscan

Hallo,
my name is Ralf and i am owning a Fiatcoupe 1.8 16V build in 1996.
I have tried to connect to the Engine - Management without success.
Im using a VAG KKL Interface Autodia K409.
When i use the F11 scanfunction, i get the message:

Scanning.....
Motorsteuerung
Hitachi MPI injection
ISO Code: 45 85 83 94 B6
Fertig

But im unable to connect.

To varify the function i have connected the Interface to the ABS. This works fine. Multiecuscan connect to the ABS and everything works like expected.

Why does the FES not connect to the engine management. Hardware seems to work perfekt. It is also able to regognize the ID, why cant it communicate?

My car is a Barchetta from early '96, and I have the same problem. The scan tells me:


The OS is Windows VISTA SP2. I send a report today 27.02.2011 at 9:30
The adapter is also a VAG-KKL interface

Hallo,
one information which maybe helpfull:
There is no connection to the L-Line inside the 3pin connector of the MPI.
It has only two wire: Ground and K-Line

Got the same problem with a Lancia Delta 836 1.8 16v Hitachi MPI (ISO Code: 45 85 83 94 B6) from '97/'98.

The scan works, but EcuScan cannot connect.
Operating systems: Windows 7, Xp
KKl-Cable and 3-Pin-adapter

Does anyone have a solution?

New version (2.8) still not working with this ECU

Still the same shit with the 2.8.
Scan ok, but no connection with the Hitachi.
