Re: HELP!!
Hi,
You should probably tell on what car you are trying to connect and what interface you are using.
Without this i don't think anybody will be able to help you

Re: HELP!!
Hi
For Body Computer you need an ELM 327 vs 1.3a, with a modified Vag Com 409.1 cable you will be able to connect only to Engine, ABS/ASR/ESP and Airbags.
First check if you have the right driver for the interface installed. You can get them from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm.
There are 2 types of drivers for the ftdi chip in your interface VCP and D2XX, you need the VCP (virtual com port driver).
After installing this driver you have to set the latency timer to 1 check it how it's done here http://multiecuscan.net/HowToUse.aspx
To be honest sounds to me more like you have problems with your interface, check with another one if it works, or check if your's works on another car.

Re: HELP!!
I think you need a CODE CARD for that! You should get this card with your car keys (with your car)!derekwatt5 wrote:ok! got it all connected! now its asking me for a 6 diget security code to program a key????? where do i get that??
If you do not have that card you have to order it but ONLY from official ALFA/ FIAT/ LANCIA dealer!!!
I have the same problem. I also have to order this CODE CARD from official dealer but it is little bit expensive!
It is about 65€!
