The Interface is an ,,ELM 327 USB 1.4a OBD2 II Code Car Diagnostic Interface,,
This is the Shop ,, http://stores.ebay.at/H-D-Accessories ,,
My Problem is that my Computer doesn`t knw the Interface.
When i connect the Interface, the computer writes ,, unknown Hardware ,,
Im not an computer genius , so maybe its not a big problem.

Re: ELM 327 not known by computer
Did you install drivers for that interface?
If you didn’t do it, just do it!

Re: ELM 327 not known by computer
This is a bit old post now, but I'll answer to this anyway.
First you need an "usb-serial" drivers installed on your computer. They should be in the CD delivered with elm-327 cable/interface.
2nd many elm-327 interfaces needs +12Vdc input from car to get all function to work, that's becouse the USB delivers only 3.3Vdc to device and there is many electrical components inside on the elm box which needs higher voltage +5Vdc, +12Vdc to operate. So if you want to test your ELM inteface/cable without car you need to connect +12Vdc(+-0.5Vdc) to ELM OBD-II pin 16 and a ground (battery minus, powersource minus, zero) to ELM OBD-II pin 4.
Again these are "as is" you do it with your own risk. I only can say that this worked on my ELM-327 device.
