Immobilizer program key

Hey guys,

Just wondering can I program my spare key to work with the immobilizer in my Alfa 147?

The key opens the door but does not start the car and an 'Immobilizer' Error comes up on the dash screen. It is the original key, it has just somehow stopped working.

Any help would be grateful,

- i am not sure but i think that with FES program you CAN NOT do that...

- the only thing you can only do is edit remote control option (locking and unlocking the car with the key)...

First FES scan module and if there is no engine computer is turned off - bat, pull out and return all of the relays (clean the spray) return - bat and try again.

Leopard are you talking about opening the key and cleaning battery connections?

It is not the key battery.
Disconnect the - terminal to the battery,
pull out one by one relay and cleaned them with contact spray.
Return everything back and try. If you fail to seek help in sevis.

Have you tried both keys

Yes my main key works fine. The spare does not.

Nothing wrong with the car the issue is with the spare key.

The only solution is to buy a new key in the alfaromeo service.

One more info you can only make 8 copies of key for each ALFA RONEO, FIAT or LANCIA vehicle. This is maximum!
