Asus does not work with eepcc multiecuscan

can not connect with fiateuscan Cable KKL a netbook asus eeepc 1001 h 1.60 ghz and 1 gb of ram win xp even after setting up the com ports.
the cable works fine with a notbook win vista
What can I do?

my Asus 1005HA windows seven starter works perfect with KKL VAG cable and multiecuscan. should be the same for yours. try to change com port settings again in windows parameters.
