I am using a registered version 2.3.1 with an Elm 327 1.3 lead. Connection to the ECU appears to work ok and I have graphed some parameters. However, when I tried to reset the "service due warning" I get only Execution Failed. I have tried with engine running and stopped but, I only get Execution failed. Some advice please ! Regards Skee.
More information!!! I noticed when starting the car a few times since reseting " service due" the(picture'of a spanner) had gone. I connected the multiecuscan again and looked at parameters under the Service heading.....All the parameters where updated i.e. Last service date= 8/14/2010, Distance till next service=28941Km. and so on. So, although I thought that I had failed to reset the service reminder......It seems to have worked. I also noted that the number of services, was reading 2, now reads 0. I can only assume that in my effort to execute a service reset that I pressed button more than nine times. Who knows!!
