Hi i have been reading a lot on forum and info but don't find a clear answer i am looking for.

I have an autel so i can do a lot with that.
But for proxy it seems this is the only solution.

What do i need to buy for hardware . What is best ?
Most i have problems with is the fiat 500. And also ford Ka with is about the same.. also one alfa that also has a flashing ipc.

To program a new module is easy but i need to remove them as its not needed or a different radio is in it.

I see elm should be a good cheap option. But there are so many different cables. I wouldnt know what to order.

Thanks upfront

Start by reading here: https://www.multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx

This details each of the supported vehicles and what interfaces and cables are required.

Suggest you only by kit from one of the authorised distributors (https://www.multiecuscan.net/Distributors.aspx) to avoid the many problems people have with cheap Chinese ELM clones.

Personally I use OBDLink SX which is a wired connection as opposed to blue tooth.

I was not aware that the SX is no longer available. A very quick internet search seems to indicate that the EX is not as good/reliable as the SX, but I could be wrong. If this is the case then go with ELM from a reputable / recommended supplier.

I see on the Gendan UK Site they now list/supply the Genuine Vgate vLinker FS USB Diagnostic Interface (faster than ELM327).

All I can suggest is to contact on the the distributors (there are several in the EU) and seek their advice.

The may be others here that have more recent experience. I got my kit several years ago now.
