2019 Ducato TPMS intermittent

Post by Foxtango »

Fiat Ducato 2019 2.3 140Hp 9 speed auto
I have an intermittent problem with TPMS that sometimes causes the error indication on the dash.

MultiECUscan shows
Other / TPMS (Tire Pressure Module)
Tire Pressure Control (TPMS) Schrader (2/3 axle)
ISO Code: F4 02 8A 0D 62
Hardware number: 1374401080 - Ver: 05
Software number: 90551098 - Ver: 00D2
Errors found:
C1012-88 - Tire pressure sensor location - Bus OFF
C1014-88 - Tire pressure sensor location not determined (left or right) - Bus OFF

When viewing the errors I notice the EMC level is always high ~130%

Charting the 4 tyre pressures, Battery level and the EMC shows as per the attachment
Chart TPMS 250628_1112.xlsx
(21.19 KiB) Downloaded 54 times
Just seems to be dropping out randomly as if there is some coms issue?
No other modules showing any errors
Any ideas or other things to check

Thanks

Jim

Did you find an answer for this issue?

My TPMS has thrown a similar error over the weekend, just in time for my MOT on Friday.

I’ve cleared the error but concerned it’ll come back as soon as I drive it.

Knaus Sky Ti 650 MEG, Fiat Ducato 2016 (250) 2.3

I did replace the original alloys last year and used new TPMS sensors, they’ve worked fine, apart from a similar error that lasted 24 hours in September last year.

Sorry I haven’t got to the root cause of this yet.
We still see high EMC levels around 130% but not sure this is the issue or a red herring.
Will update when I have some more investigation time.
