AUX input help

hello, i have a 2010 mito 1.4tb with the blaupunkt stereo and NO blue&me. ive been searching for a way to add an aux input to it, ive triedd those yellow 3pins that connect to aux left right and ground, but it didnt work. howver i noticed in MES theres an Auxiliary Audio Input option in proxi alignment. will the aux work if i enable it? thanks
