PARADISE LOST ( or at least Connection.)

Post by Factseeker »

Hi All,

I purchased MultieScan Software - I think would be in late 2022.

Using an 'ohp' USB OBD2 connector (states 'modified for Italian Cars') I carried out test runs to ensure all was Operative.

All worked very well - ECU Connection made and ECU Data available.

Today for the first time I have need to use the Kit for 'real'- but I cannot achieve a 'Connection' with ECU.

Exact same Kit - Connector etc- same Laptop I can only assume changes to software on Laptop.

Initially today on operating - MultieScan stated Port Error - I corrected that by setting to PORT 1 - as it was set to PORT 10.

I can send Attachments lto check - is PORT set correctly??

I then tried once more - it seemed to accept my Port change - but then message :- No ECU response check your Cable and Serial Port Settings

Car Is Fiat Doblo 2005 Diesel MPV1.9 JTD FWD -- 119_,223_1910cc 77KW 105HP 223 A7.000;223 B1.000

I have ignition set ON when Operating MultieScan.

I have since just upgraded to your Version 5.1 - apparently as far as I can go according to your Web Site due to 'expiry date'.

If any can find the time to try to suggest and point me in positive direction - I would be most grateful.

I am happy to upgrade software once operative again.

Best Rgds.
