Hi guys, I am looking for any help if possible.
I have purchased a 2009 Abarth Instrument cluster to fit to what was originally a Grande Punto TJet. The engine, ecu and various other pieces (besides the gearbox) have been replaced with Abarth parts. The engine is an Abarth Tjet from a 595 with a matching ecu so everything mechanically is an Abarth.
I have been able to run a proxy alignment to remove the flashing odometer however since then the screen on the cluster is displaying the Fiat logo instead of the original Abarth logo and the speedo isn't working. The on screen boost gauge only displays when I set the engine type to Type 8 (multi air) when the engine itself is a TJet. Is there a way to restore the Abarth on screen logo and boost meter whilst having the engine configured as a 1.4 16v Tjet Abarth in the proxy settings? My main goal is to restore the original Abarth logo and to get the speedo working. Below are my current proxy settings....

Re: Abarth Logo Not showing and no speedo on intrument cluster screen
Update: I have managed to get the Abarth logo restored and all dials are funsctioning except for the speedometer. The city and sport lights are also not showing on the dash when activated. I have tested the speedo is working via a dash tester however it is not moving when driving. The auto lock system is till working when I start driving which indicates it is not a fault with the gearbox sensor. When I scan the dash for errors I get a u1700-86 fault code.

1.4 Turbo MultiAir Body Control Module (BCM) - invalid - signal U1700-86
The diagnostics for this suggest 7 possible faults.
Check that the CAN connections between the climate control system control unit and the Body Computer are not faulty. In particular, that there are no open circuit or short circuit problems
Disconnect/reconnect the climate control system control unit connectors and check for the presence of loose pins

Check that the power supply for the climate control system control unit is correct

Re: Abarth Logo Not showing and no speedo on intrument cluster screen
Thank you for responding. The BCM appears to be working fine. I dont have a climate co trol system, i have the basic manual dials heater and air con system. I have tested that is working and the BCM is working for everything else.
The u1700-86 code is only showing when I connect to the instrument panel in FES. There are no fault codes detected when I connect to the BCM in FES. All dials are actuating when testing in FES. The tachometer, temp and fuel guages and matrix screen are all working. The issue is only with the speedometer on the cluster not registering when driving. The speedometer actuates when I test through FES though.

Re: Abarth Logo Not showing and no speedo on intrument cluster screen
What did you change to make the display show the abarth logo? Did you use a custom proxy? If possible please share some infoSmoorebert wrote: ↑05 Aug 2024, 07:18 Update: I have managed to get the Abarth logo restored and all dials are funsctioning except for the speedometer.
