Hi Eddy,

I removed R04 as mentioned. I still cannot read body, dashboard, abs service and climate control. I got an error message on the computer screen " ELM 327 -> ECU Connection Failed! Check your cable and serial port settings!".

The remaining modules are not affected, I can continue to read them.

Thanks
Lu

Remove the resistor in the red Frame ( R04) and you can read also CAN Bus with your ELM Interface

Hi all, I have an ELM327 V1.3a on USBV3.0 board and when running the test it passes all and says that I should connect properly to any can module, but when I scan the network I find only the BOSH Motronics ME7.9.10, BOSH ABS 8 ESP and the Delphi electric steering.

When trying to connect to the dashboard, it does not work and prompts the ELM327->ECU connection failed.

I made the modification of the switch to have both standard and type 3 cable with pins 6-14 switched on pins 1-9.
Following the pictures of my board that in the first pages appears the same marked as good one.

I am trying to connect to an Alfa Mito 1.4 Turbo 16V

Any hint to solve this issue?

Hello laserbit

While I understand what you want to do, and this is also easily
But your pictures are so small that you can not recognize it

If I could see something I could help you too

Greetings Eddy

Sorry, I made a mistake while attaching the pictures, tell me now if it's better or I should attach the full sizes.

Hello laserbit

Unfortunately I can not trace the wires to the switch
But at first glance it looks right
